Q: Is my membership for the year, or for twelve months from payment?
A: Membership is for the current calendar year. E.g, if membership is paid on October, your membership runs from October, (The date when you paid) to the end of the year.

Q: Do I need to pay my membership before training, competing at, or running events?
A: Yes, if you want to participate in AMCF events, or have public liability insurance for your trainings, you must be a paid member.

Q: When do I have to have membership paid by?
A: You can pay your membership whenever you want to. The best value-for-money would be to pay your membership at the beginning of the year in January, but you can pay for it whenever you want or are able to, with the caveat that you aren't covered by the public liability insurance until you pay.

Q: Is membership checked at AMCF Events?
A: Yes. Marshals and Event Organisers check membership for all fighters, support, and marshals prior to events starting. You will not be permitted to participate in the event unless your membership is current.


Q: I only want to be a support or a marshal. Do I have to pay membership fees?
​​​​​​​A: Yes, make sure you select the appropriate membership type in the form below.


Q: I registered in a previous year. How can I tell if my membership is current?
A: Once you have downloaded the SportyAU app with the membership card, your card will display the year your membership was last paid. This should now present as the current calendar year, e.g., 2025.


Q: How can I get the SportyAU membership card on my phone to be checked at events?
A: After you have filled out and paid the membership, you can access the card on the SportyAU application

2. Add in "Australian Medieval Combat Federation" as organisation
3. Click PhotoID
4. Add first name, surname and date of birth
5. The Photocard should now be available.

Q: I've been in the AMCF for many years now, and I have always paid by direct bank transfer. Can I still do this?
A: No. This is no longer an approved method for registration. You must register via the below form.

Q: I registered for the wrong membership category, Help!
A: Get in touch with us via the Secretary email above, and we'll do our best to help.


Q: My team isn't listed in the Form. What should I select?
A: Select "Other", and get in touch with us via the Secretary email above, to let us know that your team isn't present on the registration form so we can amend it. Please note, if your team is not officialy part of the AMCF we cannot add them yet.
