Welcome to the Mission Beach "Barracudas" Football Club

The Mission Beach Football Club is one of five clubs fielding teams in the Johnstone River Football Association. Our season runs from March through to September.

Training is held every Thursday, 5pm at MARCS Park, Mission Beach and games are played at Castor Park Mourilyan on Saturday afternoons (1pm to 3pm Start Times).  There is a possibility that Tully and Innisfail may host a round or 2 throughout the season.

We are a small-sided football club with teams catering from 6-11 year olds.  We also run a kindy soccer program for 3-5 year olds which is held on Thursday afternoons at the same time as junior's training. This program in called the MiniRoos Kick Off Program.

2021 Season

OUR AGM WILL BE HELD ON THE Thursday 28st OF JANUARY AT 5:00pm.  Please Contact Nathan on 0447033770 for more information. ALL ARE WELCOME AND ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND. WE ARE STILL LOOKING FOR COMMITTEE MEMBERS AND COACHES FOR THE UPCOMING SEASON. 

Season start dates will be discussed and the AGM and posted shortly after. As a guide the season will generally run through the 2nd and 3rd school terms (excluding holidays).

Registration Information

Registrations for 2021 - Open from the 1st of March 2021

*if you register before training starts please attend on the day to ensure your child is allocated to a team and coach. 

Junior Registration info (U6-U11) - $190 for the season. This includes Shorts Socks and Training Shirt. At presitation all players with recieve a copy of the team photo, trophy and sausage sizzle. The season includes 15 - 16 game days with the exception of rained out days.

ALDI Kick-off Info and Registrations (3-5 year olds - training only program) - $60

The Kickoff Program runs along side the training seasons on a Thursday afternoon. This year 2021 will run in terms 2 and 3.

Saturday Games 

Saturday afternoon games are held at Castor Park Mourilyan with the possibility of Tully and Innisfail hosting weekends at differnet times through out the season.

Competitive season games commence 8th May - due to the numerous amount of public holidays at the start of term 3.

REMEMBER:  You must have registered and paid your fees before you can play on a Saturday!!! Soccer Boots and shin pads are required to play. Players are reminded no hard brimmed hats or jewellery permitted on the field during play and to supply your own sunscreen.
