Gundawa

This term Gunduwa have been reading the book 'The Witches' by Roald Dahl. Everyone in class has immensely enjoyed reading this book due to its descriptive language, well thought out characters and by the author's ability to paint vivid pictures of the book's events into our minds. We've all agreed that we are not a fan of the character; The Grand High Witch, as her goal is to transform all of the children in the world into mice in order to get rid of them. Despite this, we adore the characters; Grandmamma and The Boy as they have kind personalities and are able to get out of sticky situations caused by those horrible and deceiving witches. Our aim is to finish 'The Witches' early next week so we can then watch the movie on Thursday afternoon to compare it to the book.
